TpT Hop and Hunt

Hello friends! I am excited to see my plum trees blooming, the thermometer rising and the bluebirds building new nests. Spring is in the air here, and I hope it finds you soon too!

To celebrate spring,  I am getting together with some very awesome SLP friends on TeacherspayTeachers to bring you a some freebie fun.

From March 20th through March 27th, a group of 11 SLP’s will be each offering a great spring freebie for you to grab. Organized by the creative minds of Activity Taylor and LyndaSLP123, it will be easy to hop through, because you will be able to click the banner in each store to go to the next stop. But that’s not all!

Hidden inside each freebie is a secret code.

After downloading your freebies, and finding your secret codes, you will want to head over to Activity Tailor and enter the Rafflecopter for some great prizes!

For the full scoop, head over to Activity Tailor HERE.

This spring, I have created some adorable froggy-themed resources and a cute new freebie for you to grab during the hop!

Frogs and Flies Freebie

Have fun with your littles teaching the language of quantity concepts so important for learning math skills. Five dough mats featuring hungry green frogs are ready for your students to roll some “flies”. Put them above the lily pads, and decide which frog has “more”, which has “less”. Then count and figure how many there are “altogether.” There is also a student mini book for home practice.

I confess, I kinda love frogs! When I was a little girl growing up in the Catskills, we had a tiny brook in front of our house. Every warm summer day, I waded barefoot in that brook and looked for my favorite little brown frog. I named him “Speedy” because he was much faster than the green ones. So Speedy, being more of a challenge, had to put up with me catching him every single day. We looked at each other eyeball to eyeball for a few minutes, and then I returned him to the cold water where he dove quickly under one of the smooth slippery rocks. Every day. Poor frog!

In honor of my summertime playmates, I created Five Green and Speckled Frogs Interactive Flipbook and Reader

This cute flipbook re-tells one of my favorite nursery rhymes. The children pull the frogs off their log as they dive into the pool. Ribbit! Follow up the story with the interactive student reader/minibook, or send it home for home practice.
